my name is Dave Mkpa-Eke, and i'm a self-taught software developer currently doing OSS at Margelo, an elite app development agency focused on React Native that recently became a part of Callstack. I previously did OSS at tamagui / One, a comprehensive UI solution for React (Native). i'm also an electronic & computer engineering student at the University of Nigeria Nsukka.
i enjoy learning, programming, building mobile apps and playing football(or soccer for the americans). my interests span math, computer science, engineering, history, philosophy, geo-politics and sometimes economics, but i'm most interested in the comp sci and software development side of things - the rest are hobbies.
currently i'm deepening my skillset in the native part of react-native - native C++/Swift/Kotlin modules via contributions and work on powerful libraries such as VisionCamera, FastTFLite, and react-native-mmkv. I have also made contributions to OSS such as Expo, Uniwind, Tamagui & One.
